I feel like this is the kind of stuff you don’t find out about when the main purpose of research or documentaries and so on into various communities start out as exploitative projects. Similar to folks who commented above, I’ve always wanted to know what happened to these two in particular and always kind of assumed the worst because of some of the subjects covered in the documentary and the outcomes for some of the older folks featured.
